Bayou Region Co-Rep Needed

Good evening Bayou Region NPs!

I am reaching out to see if I can solicit any interest to serve on the LANP Board of Directors as the Bayou Region Co-Representative. Marcia Blereau has been serving as the Regional Representative for over a year, but could use some help. The load is alot lighter when it is shared! It is very much a rewarding experience to be actively involved in the advancement of your profession. 

The only requirement necessary is willingness to serve! 

Basic Responsibilities:

• Encourage membership within the region
• Schedule/attend monthly regional meetings
• Actively participate in board initiatives to meet the the strategic plan goals (i.e. health policy)
• Attend 75% of LANP Board Meetings (most are via Zoom at the moment)
• Share information in Quarterly Newsletter and on Social Media
• Serve as the liason between the NPs in the region and the LANP Board of directors.
